• Motivate people to embed your video: The more people embed your video in their sites the more will its rank go up. if you have a site or a blog then embed your video there, ask your friends to embed your video on their blogs and post your video on facebook
• Link to your video from external domains: Just as external links count for ranking on Google they do give a push for ranking on youtube
• Create play lists : Its believed that the creation of play lists can improve your youtube ranking
• Avoid targeting keywords that are similar to popular videos: If there is a famous song called "What is love" for example then targeting this keyword with your video will lead you no where. First search for the keyword you want to target and see if there is anything popular with that name , if there isn't then go ahead with it
• Be more specific in your keywords: Don't target a general keyword such as "stress" or "E business" but instead choose a more specific topic such as "internet marketing basics" for example
