How to make my blog famous

There is no better way to make your blog famous than to let it show up on the top results of search engines. Before reading this article I would like you to know that my first website is getting more than , my name has become a popular Google search keyword and I am making a respectable five digit income every month from my website(s).

Each time i discover a new tip that can help your blog come up first on Google and other search engines i rush to write an article about it instead of keeping the secrets to myself. In this article i will tell you another tip that can make your blog come up first on Google and so become more famous.

Links from the main page can make a blog post famous

Most of my pages appear on the top of Google's results. In my book How to make your website come up first in search results i explained how important it is to have a link from your main page pointing towards your blog post that has an anchor text that is the same as the keywords the blog post is targeting.

For example, the title of this post you are now reading is How to make my blog famous and on the main page you will find a link to it on the left side bar having the same title.

This pushes the page in search results way above most of other posts that doesn't have a link from the main page.

What if the link was removed from the main page

I did a test few days by removing the link to one of my blog posts and seeing what will happen. The post that used to be number 11 in Google's results is now no longer visible even when i reached result number 50!!!

This means that one of the strongest elements in SEO is linking to your post from your main page and this is why i have tons of links on my main page.

Lots of Seo guys will tell you not to have such a massive amount of links on the main page but when the pay off is coming up on top of Google's results then its up to you to decide whether you want to listen to them or not.
