How to make my website show up in Google

Most of the pages on my website show up on the 10 results in Google, in my article How to make your website come up first in google i explained how making very simple changes to your site can dramatically improve your search engine ranking and i specifically mentioned how the header tags can be one of the most important factors search engines depend on in order to rank a page.

In this article I will talk about how the placement of the H1 tag itself can let your website come up first instead of just being one of the top ten results displayed.

How the H1 tag placement can affect your search engine ranking

When you place the H1 tag at the top of the article, just like I did with this article you are reading, Google gives your page a higher search engine ranking.

I have many pages that show up on the top 10 results and I also have lots of pages that come up first, when I examined the difference between pages that come up first and pages that show on the top 10 results I found that the major difference is the placement of the H1 tag on the top!!

Google gives a high priority to the top left content of the page and that’s why placing the H1 tag in that place gives your page a higher preference.
